  At Bella G Studio, students are encouraged to develop their own style!  All students will learn how to play the piano through using lesson books, music theory, sight-reading, performance pieces, and improvisation.  Bella G Studio covers performance techniques and styles from the Baroque period to Contemporary music.  In March, 2024, Julie Groom became Nationally Certified in Piano Instruction through the National Music Teachers Association. 

People engage in the process of singing for many reasons; to be more confident in life, to overcome fear, to speak more clearly, to become more assertive and to receive personal focus.  Whether auditioning for a theatrical show or preparing to compete in a local or state level pageant, experienced vocal instruction is available. All vocal students will learn specific singing techniques, warm-ups and different styles of music from classical to Broadway. 

For children as young as three to five years old, students will develop a love of music relative to their age and skill!  They navigate music through experience on the piano, rhythm studies and music concepts that include games, instrument and composer appreciation! Julie has been working with Preschool aged children for the past 3 years through the Paulding County Recreation Department in a group setting and one-on-one lessons in a private studio setting.  Julie Groom presented her Preschool Pedagogy in the Private Studio at the Georgia Music Teacher's Association Conference in November. 

The studio began offering Ukulele and Guitar instruction and both have become a popular instrument to learn!  All students will learn not only how to play the instrument, but general music theory and rhythm.  It's a traveling instrument that can be practiced and played anywhere!

As a piano and vocal performer, Julie is available for most functions, from intimate cocktail parties to large corporate events, and can create a unique program to delight all! Since January of 2024, Julie has been performing several shows;  her 50's style show, "Fantastic 50's Follies" that features the Great Lady artists of the 50's and her Christian show, her  "Gospel songs and stories" that features the greatest hymns and the special stories behind them, her "Love is in the Air" featuring the best love songs of the 50's and 60's, and her Christmas program!

Julie has accompanied hundreds of programs over the last thirty years.   Whether it's filling in for a church pianist, playing for large group performances or playing an orchestral piece, she's available.
